In collaboration with interior designer Sean Symington, the House Small Prints II collection is an inspiring new collection of timeless, small-scale fabric designs based on original GP & J Baker archival documents. These beautifully crafted fabrics have been thoughtfully curated with Symington, who brings a fresh design perspective and is known for his layered, characterful interiors and distinctive style.
Full of charm and quiet elegance, each design has been handpicked for its subtle pattern, versatility and enduring appeal, from the graceful lines of Tetbury Stripe to the delicate whimsy of Penny, named after Sean’s cherished dog. Posy features a softly meandering pattern of tiny blooms, Dotty is an elegant paisley design steeped in history and Symington features a delicate leafy coral stripe adorned with pretty miniature flowers and was taken from a small watercolour design found in the GP & J Baker archive. Flower Patch is a gentle floral trail sourced from a late 17th century Sicilian domino paper and Tuffley, originally printed for dresses in the mid-19th century, is a charming all-over pattern that brings a sense of ease and joy. Completing the collection is Ziggy, a design of striking zig-zag and dot motifs inspired by the early 20th century Modernist era.
Whether used to add personality to a kitchen, warmth to a bedroom, or depth to a living space, these delightful designs sit effortlessly within both traditional and contemporary interiors and pair perfectly with other GP & J Baker decorative fabrics and wallpapers or the coordinating House Small Prints II Wallpaper collection for a smart, layered look
